GENERAL LABORER

Boulder Creek Landscaping & Construction, LLC is looking for Landscape Laborers who work well in a team setting under the direct supervision of the Landscape Supervisor.  Landscape Laborers are responsible for completing landscape installation jobs of high quality in an efficient manner.

Duties:

Involve working on the

 following types of projects:

Tree, shrub and flower planting

Sod and seed installation

 Constructing retaining walls 

Constructing Paver or Rock walkways and Patios 

Constructing water features, fire pits and other outdoor living spaces

Installing new irrigation systems and maintenance on established systems

ETC……..

Qualifications:

Able to take instruction and work in a team environment

Work safely with Equipment and Tools

Complete landscaping duties all weather conditions 

Available and Willing to work full time (40 hours with possible OT)

Ability to lift 50lbs

Ability to prepare and complete written work orders.

Proficient, dependable and willing to continuously learn and improve.

Drivers License a plus but not required

Spanish a plus but not required

Benefits:

Starting Pay is $16+hr (possibly hire DOE)

IRRRIGATION

TECHNICIAN

Irrigation Technicians install, inspect, adjust and repair irrigation systems to ensure systems perform at maximum efficiency and to the Boulder Creek standards.

Duties:

 Tracking inventory.

Irrigation system installiation.

Startup and blowouts.

Repair and replace valves, hoses, pipes, and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures.

Operates timers and controls for sprinklers.

Assist in various maintenance activities as required.

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Able to take instruction.

Work safely as a team member.

Dependable.

Willing to learn and work hard.

Complete landscaping duties year round in all weather conditions, work full time (40 hours) plus addition hours/days.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Hand shoveling required.

Ability to prepare and complete written reports.

Proficient, dependable and willing to learn and continuously improve.

Driver license required to operate trucks.

PROJECT
MANAGER

The Project Manager works with all divisions within the company and coordinates

projects on site and with the office staff, 

 as well as managing our crews in the successful installation landscape projects from start to finish. 

Duties: 

 Project Planning- daily and long term planning to ensure goals

are met and exceeded.

  Scheduling and management of 4+ landscape crews from morning prep to

end-of-day close-out. 

 Job site planning and phasing to get the jobs done correctly and

on-budget. 

  Daily communication & updates to clients, suppliers, designers, general manager

& staff. 

  Crew member training, safety & supervision of staff members and their

equipment. 

  Development of crew leaders as managers – coach them to be successful

foreman. 

  Organize all paperwork for daily payroll, material tracking

and billing. 

  Expedite job close outs with immediate client walk throughs and punch list items. 

Success factors: 

  Organizational and construction planning skills are a must.

  Strong leadership & Communication Skills 

  Coachable and a good

coach.

  Technical landscape knowledge to train for the tasks and plan the work flow of hardscape jobs.  ·  Structure and discipline to follow processes, fill out paperwork and document all aspects of project.

trustworthy. 

  Direct, ready to ask questions, must possess endurance & ability

to be erect. 

  Strategic, realizes how their actions contribute to the bottom line,

strong business sense.

Qualifications:

 Minimum of 3 years working as a project manager. (preferably landscape

or construction).

 Minimum of 5 years working in the landscape, construction or related

industries. 

  Knowledge in installation of hardscape and landscape projects and

related trades. 

  Associates degree (preferably in construction management or Green Industry) .

  Ability to use computer programs, handheld devices and process paperwork.

 Ability to read landscape plans, shot grades with a transit, and operate

equipment. 

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bi-lingual in Spanish a major plus! 

  Valid driver’s license- clean driving and criminal record insurable on company plan.

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

Project Accountant

The project accountant position is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

 

Duties:

Create project accounts in the accounting

system.

Maintain project-related records, including contracts and 

change orders.

Review and approve supplier invoices 

related to a project.

Review and approve time

 sheets for work related to

 a project.

Review and approve overhead charges to be applied to a

project.

Review account totals related to project assets and

expenses.

Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to

management.

Confer with receivables staff regarding unpaid contract

billings.

Report on project profitability to management.

Report to management on any opportunities for additional

billings.

Report to management regarding the remaining funding available for

projects.

Create or approve all project-related billings

to customers.

Investigate all project expenses not billed

to customers.

Respond to requests for more detail from

customers.

Approve the write-off of any project-related billings that cannot be billed to or collected from

customers.

Close out project accounts upon project completion.

Create and submit contracts, government reports and tax returns related

to projects.

Compile information for internal and external auditors,

as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 

3+ years of Accounting or Office Management experience 

Proficient in QuickBooks

Proficient in Word, Excel, Office Programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented with strong analytical background

Spanish a plus, but not required

Landscaping or Construction Industry Experience a plus
